FLEAS! Poor DaisyMae

Once again, this place I live is infested outside with fleas. This year is worse so far because this new company has not had anyone spray the lawns. But even so, it never worked past years and DaisyMae gets fleas every year here. I am so over it. In the past I have used Frontline, sprays for the house, and other methods to get rid of the fleas. This year I am trying something natural without pesticides. My white dog is now yellow! LOL The natural flea and tick spray that can be used on the pets and the home is made with all kinds of natural oils, including lemongrass. They warn that it is only a temporary discoloration. She hates the spray. I don't like the oily way her coat feels. But it has been working great to kill the fleas. But this problem is going to be ongoing as every time that I take her outside, she will pick up more fleas. This spray keeps that from happening. But I don't want a yellow dog all summer. And I don't want her to feel greasy all the time, and hate/fight me because she does not like being sprayed on. So many reasons keep piling up for me to get moved out of here. It isn't even summer yet and there are months of fleas ahead. This spray I bought is costly too. But I really do not want to go back to pesticide flea and tick products. Daisy and I love going outside and taking our "walks" around the building. She walks and I go in my wheelchair with my legs trying to keep up with her. She loves rolling around in the grass outside. Flea city around here. I have lost weight going around the building with her. I need a better solution.
