A superstitious way to find a lost cat

Lately I heard a weird way called Scissors Method to find a lost cat. I don't think it makes any sense, but if you haven't found your lost cat, it is not harmful to have a try anyway. As some said it really works. Here how it goes. Prepare with a ceramic bowl full of water, put scissors on it and place it nearby the stove. The scissors face to the entrance or window. Remember not to move these stuffs before your cat goes home. Think about your cat and call your cat's name with love. Then it is done. In general, your cat will come home soon. When your cat is home, hold your cat and go around the stove three times as thanks. OK, this is how I heard about and it's so amazing this way will work.

First time I have heard of it but surely no harm in trying. I heard of another way which is feeding stray cats and having them sniff your cats toy.

I also heard about telling stray cats and they will pass your words to your cat and then your cat will go home

@youless It sounds weird but why not try anything if you really want your lost cat to come home.

@youless Thank heavens my cat hides somewhere in the home and does not run away so far. She has been with me for a long time and I believe she is used to me.
