Almost missed the bus

Well, not the bus but the recycling truck. Luckily, the fellow saw me coming out the door and took the bin from my hands. I didn't have to go down the stairs, which is getting more and more difficult for me to do. They're nice solid concrete stairs, but the steps themselves are a bit taller than is comfortable for little ol' me.

Nice he did that.
Yesterday I got a letter to the post office just as the truck was picking up the mail. He waited while the post Mistress got it processed. I appreciated that.
My husband built me half steps to get into the house. They really help.

@BarBaraPrz I may think of one if it comes to that. But right now these half steps are all I need. I do avoid the basement steps, but if I need to they're okay. They're not as big.
Also, when I weighed 20 pounds less, the basement steps weren't bad at all (face palm emoji)
