It's A Beautiful Day

Happy Thursday Everyone! the lawn crew is here mowing the lawn so I couldn't sit outside and enjoy my morning coffee. All the mowing would just set off my allergies. The dog is sitting by the door, watching them and I don't know if she's just intrigued by the riding mowers or if she's just watching and waiting to make sure they know she's guarding her property 
My big plans for today.... I have 3 over-ripe bananas so I'm going to make banana walnut muffins. I love bananas and it's been awhile since they got over-ripe. I've been eating one every afternoon as my snack and it holds me over until it's time for dinner. So, rather than throw them out, muffins it is 
Yesterday was my middle daughters birthday and that ends all the family May celebrations. Only two celebrations for June ... my son and daughter in laws 20th wedding anniversary and my granddaughters 15th birthday.
Tonight we're having an easy chicken stir-fry. I have leftover vegetables which I want to use so making a stir-fry seems easy peasy.
That's what's happening here today. What's going on with you? Anything fun and exciting?

Good morning and Happy Thursday!! It's almost ten in the morning here and I'm at my friend's house sitting with her grandmother. I actually got a few orders done this morning too that I'm really happy about. One was a Father's Day order so I'm super happy that I got it done.

I'm hoping the lawn guys are done early enough that I can sit outside and read this afternoon. I hope we can enjoy this nice weather for awhile before it gets hot and humid.

Happy birthday to your middle daughter.
What a nice time of the year that you had a baby.
I wanted to make some banana bread, and went to buy some bananas this week, looking in the discounted area for some too ripe ones, but there were none and I came home with green bananas which I have to let go on the counter and then make the loaves.
At times like that I wish that they had a few days old produce place, that is not a dumpster.

Lately the bananas here have all been green so buy the time they ripen I have too many. My daughter doesn't eat them so a bunch of bananas can either be too many for me or just enough depending on how fast they ripen.
It's weird that we have to settle for green bananas and it would definitely be easier if we could find some nice yellow ones.

I was thinking of making a cake but decided it was just easier to make muffins and they would be portion controlled. Banana cake would be too tempting for me as it's one of my favorites.

I love banana muffins. Chicken stir-fry also sounds good.
It's still raining today. No mood to go out. Just stay home and listen to some music. According to the forecast, we'll continue to have rainy day with thunderstorm.
