We had a double holiday here on Thursday and I am confused which day is today. Do you feel similar? / myLot

We had our Independence Day and Corpus Christi on Thursday. I mean, the date is always May 30 for Independence Day so you can't complain on which day the holiday is going to be but i literally don't feel that today is Saturday. I went to store to buy some bread cause, tomorrow stores aren't open except some and i don't really need to go into crowds. Very strange week and weekend for me. I must remind myself what day is today

We also celebrated Corpus Domini the past Thursday, it's always on a Thursday. The feast is liturgically celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday (that is first Sunday after Pentecost).

I remember it had happened with me once.We had a marriage ceremony in our family.I was very busy managing everything.My father was away for business purposes.I could not sleep for two consecutive nights.The third day I was confused which day it was.

Yes, this happens often. I don't have a job and this makes me feel like all days are the same. It's like I live the same day again and again.

i feel you and i feel exactly the same. even when i take a walk, i feel constant deja vu and almost like a ghost, like i lived thousand of lives. i am feeling down today, sorry.

It's been so long since I last felt the Independence Day here being highly celebrated by many people. Through time fewer people celebrates Independence Day. Politics may have contributed to the cause of this lack of enthusiasm to celebrate such historic event.

I can get confused as to what day it is without a holiday to confuse things

well, to be honest, since the weather here is pretty much raining, the same, i get confudes even without a holiday too. only, holidays during the week, it is tough, as you pointed out. i would ban them during the week
