Hello June / myLot

14 days to go before my big day! I am very nervous. Today Andrea's present arrived in the mail. It is an Italian language book. I think a first lesson would be a good way to start this month. This afternoon I have a pamper schedule for me. I am quite looking forward to that. It will be a bit expensive but I do want to have that bridal glow.

There is an interesting site to learn Italian, it's "duolingo.com", I followed German lessons, it's well done and easy to follow.

I am on duolingo actually but the progression is pretty slow so I was asking Andrea for a book for the longest time. Duolingo is very helpful in learning Spanish though but not quite with Italian. Some phrases sounds weird as per Andrea.

@flapiz I agree with Andrea that some phrases in Italian on duolingo are weird and it is the same in French. I never tried Spanish to see if it has the same problem.

@LadyDuck My friends went to Spain and they said Duolingo helped a lot. But then we Filipinos have a lot of Spanish words in our language so it may just be that.

Thank you so much. I am quite nervous as I am quite a shy person and I do not want the attention but a wedding is like having the limelight on you. I dread that.

@flapiz Oh yeah you are the main character in that event. So, you will have to smile and be friendly with everyone in the event. Being an introvert myself I really have to contend and adjust myself when it was me who was in that situation. But everything went well and ended happy and exhausted from the whole event.
