I need to find good homes for these kittens

I have two kittens. I wanted these kittens to stay with their mom until they were 10 or 12 weeks old. But I can't do this. They won't stay in our yard anymore. They explore the road. I have to find homes for them as soon as possible. Maybe they know how to avoid cars, but I am not sure they can do this. I prefer to avoid risks. Their mom is a stray cat and we feed her. We want to spay her for free. My mom called today and people who want free spaying have to wait for many months. The stray cat is still nursing her kittens. They are 8 weeks old and won't eat much. They only taste food because they aren't weaned yet. They are very cute and I think that people want them. I have to give them to strangers.

You have to hold out until they are fully weened. The survival rate of kittens taken from their mom too early is low. I know you don't want to risk them getting hit, but unless you can find someone to take mom and kittens, they won't have a chance, or much of one.

I didn't know this. If they are 8 weeks old are they too young to survive without their mom? Their mom tried to wean them, she brought them mice and they ignored them. They still prefer milk.

@dya80dya They are too young to wean!

I understand it must be tough to part with the kittens, but it's great that you're prioritizing their safety. I hope you find loving homes for them soon.

@dya80dya It definitely takes time to find the right homes for your adorable kittens. I'm sure with your care and effort, they'll find loving owners soon. In the meantime, enjoy all the cuddles and playful moments with them!

I hope this will be possible for the little one.

It will take time to find owners. Some people want them for children who are 1 year old. Those kids can harm kittens.

Hope you an find them homes when they're ready to leave their momma. Kittens are hard to resist

They aren't ready to leave their momma, but they will be forced to leave her. My mom made an appointment for spaying and we can't make the decision. It's risky to leave these kittens without their mom.

I'd never believe a kitten will be street smart! No cats are:( Yes, give them to people, who will be kind to them.

@dya80dya Some drivers deliberately swerve, to hit a cat or a dog. Being street smart doesn't work!

They are street-smart. At least their mom is.

do you have a no kill shelter you can take them to? that's what I would do, don't tell them you feed them just tell them you found them, & they'll take them.

We have such a shelter, but it's full. They won't accept any new cats. And their behavior is terrible. People who work there offend people.

These kittens need to stay in warm air they will not tolerate cold air. At that age, they still need to receive warmth from their mother.

I see that you have expert advice here so you should follow it and do the best you can for the kittens, Are there no animal shelters that can take both mom and kittens?

There is such a shelter, but they don't accept new cats. So we are stuck.
