Another Lucky Shot

We noticed the Robins going in and out of the cedar. Hubby slipped in between the tree and the house and saw the nest. Too high up to see into it. He reached up with his phone and took a picture. Just happened to catch this wide open mouth! Now that we know where the nest is, we can see it out the living room window. The babies are sitting up above the nest now.

@LadyDuck They are! They've left the nest now. Sometimes we see them around the yard still chirping to be fed. Even though they look as big as the adults. Haven't spotted them.

Great photo! I had a cardinal’s nest in the oak tree right outside the door in the front yard, and every morning when I would go outside to go to work, I would hear the babies crying out endlessly for mom and dad to bring them food. They have fledged now and have taken flight, so I don’t hear them now when I go to work.
