Understanding of why our war will take a long time

Who here understands why we are at war with our enemies and why it is taking a long time to be at war? We are at war because Hamas did for the last time to us kidnapped our people and brought us to a war. Now, we have to finish it and get our soldiers and people home to where they belong. Why it is taking so long is because we have to win and do it right so we can celebrate our holidays in peace and quiet and enjoy them and not getting blown up or murdered like our enemies like to do. We are surrounded by enemies. Why we are here is because our G -d brought us to this land thousands of years ago and our enemies do not want a big piece of the pie or peace with us but want us gone and we are not going anywhere. We have only one country in the world and it is very important to us and we are not lambs so have to defend it and are surrounded by enemies. How would you feel if you were told you could not defend yourselves and surrounded by enemies? We are here to stay and I hope there are people out there that understand that.

The land you are at wat to save is yours.It has been yours for centuries.The war is long because your enemies are receiving help from who don't want you to win.You will have to be more and more powerful and and always war ready.

I understand that you have only responded to what your enemies have provoked you to do. I think it was wrong of them to start all the troubles, since you have not been doing anything with them for the longest time. I think you have all the right to defend yourselves and your country, and I hope you will be successful in doing so.

I understand the need to defend one's homeland because of the threats brought about by the enemies, but I just don't really understand the nature of the enemies's minds. I always ask for the "why". Why do they have to start something horrible and chaotic in this world? I don't understand them at all.
