Good morning mylot friends

I've been off of mylot for a week or so, so let me explain. I got sick, I may have told you guys I wasn't feeling well, but then it kicked my butt. I woke up and told my husband on Sunday I had to go to ER. I had a tight feeling in my chest, I was coughing up greenish gunk and was just so sick. I also had laryngitis, which if you know me, that was hard on me. So I went to the small hospital here in my county and they took blood, did a chest X ray. They said everything was good, which I couldn't understand but they did give me a couple prescriptions. The next day my hubby started feeling bad and it hit im FAST! He told me he didn't feel well and went to lay down. Because of his heart issues I checked on him within 30 minutes. His face was red as a beet and I went over and layed my hand on his forehead. He was burning up! I woke him up to take his temperature which was 104.1 I told him he needed to go to the hospital and I knew I would have a fight on my hands so I called my son to help me persuade him. But to my surprise I didn't need my sons help. Hubby told me to phone 911 for an ambulance which I did. So the ambulance took him and I followed behind in the car. By the time I got to the hospital it was a bit after 8pm and had to wait for them to get him settled in. He was on oxygen and and had a blood pressure cuff on as well as that thing they put on your finger to measure oxygen. His oxygen was at 94-95, which for a 66 year old man is about normal. They gave him tylenol which brought the fever down. They also did blood work and X rays and then the dr said he wanted to run a cat scan of his lungs and make sure he didn't have a blood clot and if he didn't they would send him home. By this time I was so darn exhausted. It was 1 am. My husband told me to get some rest but there wasn't any where I could rest so I told him I was going to the car for a bit. I called the hospital a couple times and they hadn't had the results yet and finally about 2:30 am I went back inside. The nurse told me, as I walked past the nurses station that they were keeping him. I figured that they found something on the cat scan but the nurse said it was the blood work. So I went to my nieces house to get a bit of rest which didn't work out greatly. I got about 3 hours of actual sleep and headed back to hospital. When I got to the hospital and up to his room I was quite shocked. In order to get into his room I had to gown up in a disposable gown and I had to go through a little corridor and then into his room. Apparently what he had (and possibly what I had) was some sort of new viral bacteria something something. They don't know much about it but apparently its rough. i'm still dealing with laryngitis, probably because I can't shut up. But I'm all healed up other than that. Hubbys out of the hospital and doing better but he's not completely there yet. Ok time to hop off again and fix breakfast. Hope you guys are having a great day.

I was going to ask if it was covid, but they didn’t treat patients like that during the worst of covid. I pray he improves quickly!
