It's a shame that in the land I love, USA, politicians are nothing more than con artists. Most just want to con you into believing that they're actually gonna change things for the better ...... Ok ok, so what they mean is they'll change thing for the better for themselves while they take taxpayers money as payment. Why do we the people have to pay the salaries of presidents, congressmen and senators? For those of you old enough to remember Johnny Carson, here's something he said in one of his monologs and if you were to look up what Biden did you'd find Johnny was telling the truth.

I found a comment there that says you're old if Johnny roasted you . I can understand that the people need leadership . . . but politics itself can be just UGH. Right - I'll believe 'em when things are actually better.

Yep, it was good ole Deano, he did fairly well for a while, I for one liked the variety show he had, he was funny

Funny thing is I never watched all those shows that 'roasted' celebs but wasn't that Dean Martin that did that?

I think that your politicians are just good fund raisers, nothing more. I remember Heeeeere's Johnny, I used to watch that when I was a teenager babysitting.

He was reported as being an avid reader especially of newspapers so he'd fill his monologues with all kinds of funny trivia he'd read about like Biden stealing someone else's speech in the 1980s

Biden has done this his whole political career. Taking credit for other's ideas and claiming them as his own. I knew this one. Great to see Johnny call him out on it. Carson was definitely the Master of Late night, not like the clowns they have on today! And Biden's still stealing. This time it's money, using his influence to get his son a job in Ukraine and peddling favors with China to get kickbacks. Of course, Congress is so inept at their job they will never uncover absolute evidence to prove it.

The sad part of all this is that Biden can't be the only one but he was the only one called out by someone who always managed to read the newspapers before he aired.

@rebelann You right... Politics and corruption go hand in hand. No wonder why Congresses approval rating is as low as Biden's. I think the longer one is in politics the more corrupt they become to special interests. A good argument for term limits.
