What is your opinion on divorce?

Vatican City and Philippines prohibit divorce. And divorce is the latest news now in the Philippines.According to Britannica, divorce is the act by which a valid marriage is dissolved usually freeing the parties to remarry. For me, before getting married , it would be helpful if the two take MBTI test under the guidance of a psychologist and the two would be informed how they can handle their relationship knowing their temperament. It is supported by the study of Tieger that there is a strong link between personality type and relationship satisfaction.Someone who is an INFP may clash with ESTJ in a relationship. And if we can see, there is no common between them. But we know there would have an exception in a relationship. Additionally, based on the study of Tieger majority of the people indicated that the most important aspects of a satisfying relationship are the following: 1.Trust-95% 2.Communication-92% 3.Mutual respect-92% 4.Mutual commitment-86% 5.Fidelity-82% The mentioned most important aspects are actually the top 5 based on the answers of respondents. Moreover, a gerontologist from Cornell University found out that aside from learning to communicate and unbreakable, lifelong commitment, it is important to get the know the person first before marrying, learn to work as a team and choose someone that is similar to you like when it comes to child-rearing, how money is spent and even religion.

Catholic Church does not approve divorce, but the Church respects the person who was obliged to divorce but that is not responsible. The one who provoked the divorce cannot even receive Communion anymore. This list for a satisfying relationship lacks some VERY important things - true love - patience - common interests

@elmer0421 The same religion is NOT at all a problem. My husband never cared about religion. He is my same religion just because in our country we were all baptized soon after we were born. Religion has never been a problem between us and we are married from 54 years.

I think people no longer have any commitment or morals.
