And then it started to rain

I managed a walk around my yard this morning to see what I needed to work on today. Then I went next door and "borrowed" a plank of discarded wood (their front step had rotted away in places and was replaced with a little concrete number).
I heard some distant rumbling.
I cut the piece of wood to the size I needed, and heard some more rumbling.
Grabbed my broom to sweep up the cuttings, and then (you can guess how this goes) it started to rain.
A lot.

It came in spurts, and when I thought it was safe to go outside, it would start up again. I did manage to tie up some tall flowers the rain had knocked over.

One of these days I'll get a proper ramp put in from the back gate but this'll have to do for now.
