Where did our heatwave go? Did you get a change in the weather?

Yup, yesterday's rain cooled things down. At one point yesterday it got down to 15°C/59°F... 20°C now at 11:48am.

What an amazing tree! Just look at the colour of it. Very lovely.

It was sweltering today. I hung out at my dad’s where my sister and her family came to visit, but I tried to stay inside. It was just so hot.

Climbing. We're expected to be at 95 F by Monday. Thankfully, I don't have to go anywhere if I don't want to. If my doctor's office does approve my pill, then I'll go to walgreens sometime this week to get it.

I'll tell you where the heatwave went. It went to Florida. We're dying here. It's going to get up to 98 today, which the heat index close to 115. No rain in sight either. This is weird saying this, but we really need a tropical system (hopefully a tropical storm versus a hurricane) to hit us and dump copious amounts of water over the state.

It sounds like you're enjoying a refreshing change in the weather there! Here in Islamabad, it's still hot and moist, quite typical for this time of year. I hope those clouds bring some much-needed relief from the heat for you. As for my Saturday, it's shaping up to be a relaxed one so far.

We vary back and forth between clouds and sun, with dampness and high humidity. Evidently there was some wind along with rain last night. Sun this morning, and now clouds rolling back in.

It's been lovely here in the UK. Sunny with no signs of rain which is a treat.

That’s a coolly unique tree! The 8-14 day outlook shows cooler weather in your neck of the woods while heat builds here. It’s supposed to be in the low-mid 90s next week. Just in time for a walking tour. I’ve had my Saturday chicken & cheese baked potato and filled the car up cheaply. I’ll look at the weather radar before I decide whether to go for a drive or go home and go back to bed.

It is cold and drizzly here. We need moisture but I'm using the furnace it's so chilly.

It is hot here. I had to move to a different room because it's too hot. Outside it's hot and inside is hot too. Tomorrow we will have 32 C. We had some rain today.

Be glad the heatwave is gone. This year, it has caused havoc everywhere and even water levels were getting depleted. Sometimes, I do scared of the future -I meant the immediate future and not even distant. With inflation, heatwave and health challenges, it has become tough to survive. Well, for now we survive.

We had two very hot and muggy days, but today is breezy and nice. May be rain later in the day.

Nice Saturday so far. It's absolutely beautiful outside, but I'm in the studio. At least I can appreciate it through the windows. That's a really interesting tree!

The sun is out down here in Atascadero land. We had fog (the weather thing said it was clouds and would last all day...the weather guessers can't tell popcorn from lima beans!!!) this morning and I am fairly sure it's going to be rather hot. I need to go up town and get some aspirin and a couple of other things then it's home and to work. I'm looking at the pile of fur on the table waiting for me to get going on it, and then the two pieces on the foot stool waiting to be stripped...I'm looking forward to getting back to work!!! Every once in a while, I think about getting another guitar, but if I get one I would sing and the neighbors would call animal welfare and report that I am abusing animals.
