There are many types of ants that vary in size Some bite and some do not.
Recently I saw a few tiny ants that do not bite on that green mango jelly I had pepared I had a guest and looking at those ants she did not taste the jelly I on the other hand I removed them and enjoyed the jelly.
If you see ants on your food do you throw it away?

If it's only one ant I won't throw it away. But if it's many probably yes.

We would not use the food if it were infested with ants. They can transfer bacteria to food it should be disgarded.

It depends on how many ants are on the food. If the food is eaten by a dense colony of ants, then I will definitely throw the food away. If there is only one ant, then I can throw the ant away

@allknowing Okay, I just found out that ants are human food, which is not my habit, but I know that fried grasshoppers are a dish in the southern part of our country
