Happy new week! It’s a nice day here, although it’s supposed to get HOT by the middle of the week. Well, it’s June and summer’s almost here, so what else can it do?? After the detour to the country charts yesterday we’re back on the top 40 with the debut single from a great act. Here’s today’s song that’s now 60 years old. I’m Into Something Good - Herman’s Hermits The Kentucky State Fair concert lineup was released last week, and the “Happy Together” oldies tour will be there again, which features Peter Noonan, the lead singer of Herman’s Hermits. Flo & Eddie, a/k/a the Turtles, are the MC/headliners. Will you look who wrote this? This was the debut single for Herman’s Hermits, fresh on the heels of Beatlemania and the British Invasion.
