Dor the dog is back home.

Dor is back home and wants to lie down next to me. When I took him out this morning at 5:30am, he didn't want to go, and only came with me when I offered him a treat, then he got up and followed me out the door. We had a nice walk, it was nice and cool at that time. . . The kids( 20 somethings) are still sleeping and we are supposed to have a conversation later today. I don't know what they will decide. I think that having a dog is not a big deal, personally now that the summer is coming. I can change my schedule around to be able to take him out.

Sounds like you and Dor had a sweet start to the day! It's great that you're open to adjusting your schedule for him. Hopefully, the conversation with the kids goes smoothly. Dor's lucky to have such a caring owner like you!

Poor Dor. Perhaps he thought he'd been abandoned. Dogs don't have much say in what happens to them sometimes.

I don't think so. They don't really want to play with him, or take him out. I did it twice today. But I forgot that I should have been teaching online. . . Whoops, I usually always show up. But I was out with the dog!! My bad

@lifecoachjerusalem I suggest that you give that dog away to a house where every member in the house will love him. That is not the situation in your house. You are the only one that cares for the dog and that will emotionally affect the dog.
