Quiet But Busy Monday

I have already been up and dropped Patch border collie off at the vet. She tried to follow me back out when I left. . I told her I would be back. I should be able to pick her up after 3 as long as nothing goes wrong. The dobermans are already missing her.
Today is mowing. So that will keep me busy while I wait. My mowing pattern is changed now. It won't take me long to get used to it. It might even make it easier for hubby.
Except for that I don't have anything planned. I will maybe get some decorations up that were waiting until I knew what I was doing with the pond and tree.
Hope you have a good day.

Does she have a cone? My dogs all hated that but it kept them from licking the stitches. I hope she recovers quickly.

@MarieCoyle No and so far leaving them alone. The stitches are actually under the skin the way they sewed her up. That helps. I do have a couple of surgical doggie shirts if I need to cover them

@akalinus I have a male doberman and don't want to take a chance of puppies. This means no worries about that. Plus I can take her with me anytime I want instead of having to watch for that

@wolfgirl569 I know it helps future cat health but it is kind of sad to spay them. I'm sure they are better off though.

I read through comments and now I know why Patch went to the Vet How long will the wound take to heal.

The poor dog but good thing the dog is being missed. I know it is not the vets but none of my pets really enjoyed going to the vet. I believe my dog did not too but cannot remember that. You are a very busy lady.

She was happy to come back home. Most dogs don't like the vet

I have no idea about what animals like but know that my cats never liked the vet whether they came to our home or not.

Hopefully, Patch will have a good short recovery. She has youth on her side.
As usual, you have a busy day planned out. I hope to get some things done here as well.

I always make my ''to do'' list too long, but I did get some things done, thank you.
I am glad she is having a good recovery so far.

Poor Patch. Freckles loved to go for a ride in the car…until she saw we were at the vet’s office. To her credit, as long as I held her in my lap she was relatively calm.

That was her first time at a true vet. I use the clinic type at tractor supply for shots.

I hope that she is back home and the dobermans aren't missing her too much anymore.
On Saturday my son and I were out for a walk and I noticed this little thing beside the sidewalk moving, but not making any noise. It was a self propelled electric lawn mower. When I noticed it and made a comment my son said how great that would be to have one. I told him that 20 years ago Dad thought about making one and patenting it, too bad he didn't follow through on that idea.

She is home and they have relaxed. They kept looking some.
They would be nice to have. Our yard is too big yet for one. Too bad your dad didn't

A new routine and easier mowing sounds like a win win. Hope Patch comes home soon so the Dobermans don't miss her for too long.

I hope all goes well at the vet. Aww, she was already missing you! Just keep yourself busy with what you can and make time to relax during the day. I'm still starting my day, hubby is already at work so each day, or almost each day I get 8 hours to myself. I don't always know what to do, but I do know I need to get some things together, as we may be moving either at the end of the month or the end of next. It's just hard to do it alone, since I do suffer from chronic pain.

She is home and napping.
Hubby is retired now so I get me days less often.
