In the wild, this is what a tigress and her cubs would be called. The scientific name is Panthera Tigris and they are found in southeast Asia, Indochina, Russian Far East, and the Indian subcontinent. They are solitary animals and do not form lifelong family bonds. There are only about 5,574 wild tigers in 13 tiger range countries. In 2010 there were only 3,200.
