Bloomin’ Accidents!

A couple of Sundays ago, I managed to have a, self inflicted, crash on my bike. Thought I had gotten away with damage to the front disc brake and some bruises and grazes. I made my way home being somewhat more careful!
After a short while I found that I had a bad limp and could only get around with a walking stick. I was unable to get comfortable to use the computer and eventually put my back out, so not a very happy teddy!
I no longer need to get a stick, but walking any get distance wears me out, I guess because I have been almost immobile the last couple of weeks. I can now get to the shops and back, fairly slowly.
The plan is to walk more frequently as this week progresses and on Friday, cycle into Uxbridge for some shopping, using my folding bike. Every the optimist!
On the plus side, the flowers are coming along nicely, but I haven’t seen any sign of the California Poppies.

I hope you'll be back to full strength soon and can enjoy your flowers, hopefully with some California Poppies in bloom!

@Ronrybs It's great to hear you're embracing gardening! Crowded plants can sometimes sort themselves out, but if not, you might need to thin them out a bit to give your poppies more space to bloom.

I am sorry you had a self inflicted crash on your bike, followed by several health problems.
I am sure that walking more frequently will help to get again in good shape.
Those flowers are pretty, I have never been lucky with California poppies.

nice flowers. Many years ago I have a bad limp from a fall down a cliff. They wanted me to use crutches, but I couldn't use them. I wish they gave a walking stick instead.
