Finally able to totally relax

Wow..Started out about 11am..went to check to see if one of my lottery stores was open. Last week there was a note on the door saying something about closing at 9pm on the 31st. I think in a few months they might Have to close as the city/county are about to make a fly over in that area. But they were open. Left there pulled into Dollar General..It was packed. Left and went 2 buildings over to Dollar Tree. Got what I went in there for, and then looked around. It really is a nicer store than most of them. Used to be a CVS store. Found some Mexican Street Corn flavored CornNuts. Decided to try them. Left went back to the Dollar General..most people had left.
Got what I went there for..went to Grocery Outlet..No idea why, but today was the 3rd Time I have gone WITH a list, and STILL forgot to get PAM Spray. Got home about 2pm. Did a couple of chores..Tom came home, I did a jigsaw puzzle, and then cooked supper..Meatloaf, Mashed Taters, and Corn. Finally I can sit and not have to do ANYTHING! LOL Legs are killing me along with my back, but I did good getting around shopping. Had energy all day which is unusual here lately. Feel good getting so much done...stocking up.

Not sure what you mean...it is the nicest one in town...on 15th and Lisenby. The one on 23rd is a mess, and the AC doesn't work most of the time...I was so glad they opened the one at Lisenby. Hasn't been open long. Are you thinking of the one by Bay Mendical that used to be a Walgreens?

@Ghostlady It was not nice the last time I went to it. It was around Christmas it was the one on Lisenby and it was bad.
I don't go to the one by Bay.
I worked at the one on 23rd after the last big hurricane.

@thislittlepennyearns When it first opened it took a while to get organized..Everytime I have been there it appears nice. Love the lighting, and how it is organized now. Employees are so nice.

I can do that: make a list, then (a) forget the list or (b) forget to look at it and thereby forgetting to buy what I needed.

I still have some to get, but most of it is done. Being it is Hurricane Season, you have to stock up on everyday stuff like toilet paper, soap, etc.

It sounds like you had a very relaxing day. I always feel good when I get things done too. I have more packing to do to be ready for when I do find the right place so we can move shortly after that.
