Well another one anyway. Several years ago I bought Dyson bladeless fan since we weren't allowed to have ones with blades in the classroom. It isn't as amazing as it should be for the price that I paid but it works. For the past couple of years since I've lived in this apartment I've moved it from the bedroom to the dining room so I can sit in front of it.
Now that I have an actual sleigh bed I can't easily access the outlet to plug and unplug it. I've just left the fan on the other side of the bed. I'm in the smaller version of the apartments so I don't have a ceiling fan in the dining room. The bigger apartments do. I like to have the windows open when I can to cut down on the electric bill. I definitely am going to need a second fan though especially now that I have the pleasure of experiencing hot flashes.
I'm definitely not spending an insane amount of money on another Dyson fan again. I'll get a cheapo one from Amazon.

@NJChicaa I know you've been here but it actually is sunny sometimes
I'm watching a few youtube channels where US people come to the UK for extended periods and realise it's actually a foreign country even though you speak a version of English

I hope you find a good fan. Are you on any meds for the hot flashes? I just bought a box of Equate (Walmart brand) pills for hot flashes for our housekeeper. It takes about 12 weeks for them to work. She's only in her 30s but had a hysterectomy. Have a good day.
