Today I had mocha and rice.

Mocha is the byproduct of a banana tree. There are covers. Inside the covers the vegetable looks like match sticks. My mother severes them and then cooks them. Coconut and grams are added in the dish. It is eaten with rice.

To most Westerners, mocha is a type of coffee. This sounds an interesting dish.

@JudyEv Yes some might get confused by that title but well, that is how it is. Some names in different languages are much the same !

I have had Raw Banana Vegetable. Not sure if Mocha tastes similar. Coconut would likely give it a nice flavor. Have a nice Sunday !

yes Cheung the coconut is crushed into powder and added in the mocha
