We Ate at Wendy's for TGIF

We quite often eat out on Fridays. We are all foodies and enjoy eating processed, red meat, white flour, etc. You know. All the stuff we definitely shouldn't be eating. We have a Wendy's just across the main street from us and haven't eaten there in ages.( We also have a Taco Bell just across our side street which is my grandson's favorite. My daughter wanted Wendy's and their chili almost always sounds good to me. My grandson got a double cheeseburger, my daughter got a single and I got chili with onions and cheddar cheese on top. So tasty! We also got the triple-berry Frosties that they have on special right now. We will have those later.

Even though my relatives and myself like Wendy's hamburgers, we normally eat at Taco Bell due to the price of tacos being cheaper.

@LadyDuck .......I guess it just depends on where you choose to eat. I think it is smart of them to put the hamburger in the chili. Not all burgers are overcooked. Many are though. I don't usually get the hamburgers. The place where we usually get burgers is owned by a Boisean and he does a very good job. They also have delicious shakes.
We will sure get our fare share of toxins.

@MarieCoyle - I am sure that many do that, they slap the timer again. Those hamburger patties are so dry and overcooked.

Sadly, many restaurants are guilty of cheating on the amount of time a food is allowed to be kept before discarding or ''reinventing'' it into something else. Most have timers, as you said. They set the timer and often if no one is looking, when it dings that time is up, they just slap the timer again.

I used to love the Wendy's taco salad. There is a Burger King not too far but I keep to a tight budget so I do not go there, Glad you enjoyed your food,

I miss Wendy's, there's none in my place now. I love the salad bar and their burger. Good I can still have burger king but no salad bar

@celticeagle Me, too but for now I have to avoid eating grilled food and raw veggies so just have to avpid BK too.
