Severe thunderstorm watch here at the Jersey Shore

It looks ominous out there. I just woke up from a nap and it is definitely looking like a thunderstorm is on the way. They are warning about high winds, hail, etc. I don't stress about storms these days now that I live on the 3rd floor. We almost never lose power. I don't have to worry about a flooded basement.
We shall see what actually happens. For now it is dark, hot, and humid out there.

Parts of Florida got double digit rain. I can't imagine the flooding there. No rain today. There are some nasty storms out to our west. Have a good weekend.

A couple of days ago it seemed to become evening during the afternoon and torrential rain poured, You might have seen that southern Florida has flooding so we are lucky with all the rain we have not flooded, In fact, I guess we are sort of uphill in the 7 years I have been here the Halifax River which is one block away has not flooded us,

We had loud thunderstorms and rain, some intermittent small hail, most of last night and basically all night long. Today, it’s been sunny. No more storms in the forecast at all. I guess time will tell.
