Saturday Morning Brief

Good Saturday morning everyone. It's going to be another beautiful day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently, it's 59 F with blue skies.
Today will be a busy lazy day. By that I mean, I will still get my steps, and do a little cleanup for tomorrow, and take the Italian sausage and burgers out of the freezer to thaw for tomorrow, but that's it.
I'll work on a book, watch TV, and play my games. Yes, I'll be here too. So, a laid back un-busy day. I'll take it.
I got over eight hours of sleep last night. Most likely from all the exercise I did at the pool yesterday and the walking I did here.

I managed to survive a 15-hour day at Disney World yesterday. We got home very late though, at about 2:00am, and yet I someone still woke up early this morning. Today will be a lazy day for sure for me. I'll probably do a lot of the same things you are doing today, minus the book writing. haha

@just4him Hotel prices are ridiculous at Disney and in the Orlando area. It doesn't make sense to pay $200/night for a room that you're going to do nothing but sleep in for a few hours. Plus, with home being so close, it just makes sense to drive back and forth. Usually my son or daughter does the drive home, they are young and can stay awake. On the flip side, usually me or my girlfriend will take the driving reigns when we do the early morning drives to the parks. It all works out well for us.
Sorry you didn't get any work done on your book. But you probably did the right thing; if not in the mood, it's best not to force it.

@moffittjc Since you're that close it makes sense to drive home.
You're right. It's not good to force the story. The rework takes longer.

Considering you love Disney World; survival doesn't compute to my way of thinking. I'm sure you had a wonderful time. Getting home at that time makes me wonder why you didn't get a hotel room. Now, waking early when you got home so late, that would be a problem. You deserve a lazy day.
I opened the book, looked at it for a couple of minutes and closed it. I guess I wasn't in the mood for writing today. I was lazy though.

What a coincidence! We have blue skies here in St Catharines and it's 15°C/59°F, too. I'll be outside, doing more gardening. It's amazing how fast the grass grows, Wish my veggies grew as fast. Guess I'll give 'em a drink of MiracleGro.

I have no plans for today. The weekends are always really quiet. I probably will talk to my husband again. He called late last night. Have a wonderful day.

It's a lovely day here as well. Got to spent the day with family and pets. Nothing beats by just staying at home with no pressure from anyone.
