VNL Volleyball Nations League 2024

The VNL is once again back in the Philippines.
The Men's Volleyball Teams that will be competing in the Manila League are teams the Netherlands, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Iran, and the USA.
I have seen clips that team USA has arrived in the Philippines.
While teams Italy, Bulgaria, Cuba, Slovenia, Turkey and Argentina are competing in Slovenia.
There is no team Philippines in the league because these are best of the best teams in the World Ranking and the Philippines is way below the ranking.
I hope that I can see some matches live which will start on June 18.

Is this some kind of Olympics pre qual or something?

I think this is part of the pre qualification for Olympics.
I think USA will be playing in the Olympics alongside Brazil, Japan, Germany, Poland, Canada and France (the host country).
There are 5 slots to be filled, not sure if it's already filled or to be determined after the VNL tourney.

I like watching basketball too but I enjoy watching volleyball. I don't know but it is full of action on the net. The only sport I know to play as well.
