My earlier Samsung (A series) phone was causing few hiccups and hence I wanted to exchange it for a new one...I was eyeing Samsung S24+ for a while now, today visited a store which is authorised seller of Samsung and finally bought it. I got it at a good deal. This new handset has some amazing AI features, I am loving it....

I'm glad you bought a new phone. I also got a new OppoA2 four months ago. We don't seem to have Samsung phones here

@Rimps85 There are many local mobile phone brands in China, such as Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, etc., which are constantly developing and growing. These brands are more in line with the needs of Chinese consumers in product design and functionality, and are also more considerate in marketing strategies and after-sales service, putting tremendous pressure on Samsung's market share. Brand image damage: The Note7 phone explosion and subsequent kneeling door incident on Samsung phones in 2016 had a significant negative impact on its brand image, leading to a decrease in user trust in Samsung phones.

First of all, congrats on your new mobile phone. Glad to see you are loving it. I can understand how it feels when our phone starts misbehaving with us... Hahaha... The Samsung brand is definitely a trustworthy one. I'm using it in my home. We have a Samsung TV set as well. But personally, I'm a Xiaomi fan. I've never used other brands so far.

@Rimps85 Well, I haven't been that deep with Samsung products. I have had problems with Samsung phones in the past. That's just a personal experience, by the way.
