God of one's understanding is what is considered impoirtant to live a life of righteousness. As kids we are guided to know the difference between right and wrong but as an adult they are allowed independent thinking and this thinking has a lot do with an individual's status in life. What is a sin to one may not be a sin to another. Do you therefore stay away from those who do not think like you and have that 'holier than thou attitude' ? Your thoughts please

I always prefer to stay away from such people, and the major reason is they just increase stress and hinders the mental peace.

Who are we to judge. Each of us do what we think is right and no one has the right to make their opinions

I grew up with your same principles. Our parents guided us to know what is right and what is wrong. I avoid those people with that 'holier than thou attitude'.

@allknowing - I agree, nobody is perfect, so we have to accept people as they are.

I can't understand myself sometimes and if I happen to come across such people it is preferred to stay away from them.

I can relate to many sports writers who have that holier than attitude toward sports stars who try to live a good life and are lampooned by them.

The morals to some extent has perspective. However, there are certain said and unsaid rules when it comes to sin. I agree for the unsaid rules, there are no proper definition and hence independent thinking can make a difference. I do stay away from people whom I do not like and most of time it is their attitudes. Some of them do have holier than thou attitude .I have felt it most like a racist rant. Anyways, happy to be away from such. Thanks

I only stay away from people who do wrong things. And think those things are the right things to do.
