There's Good News...And Bad News

So I know that I said I would post about the yard sale yesterday (Monday) but I was really busy all day.
Starting with the bad news, well it's not really bad news it just wasn't as great as I know it could have been.
The yard sale went but I didn't make as much as I wanted and didn't get rid of as much as I wanted to . It wasn't great but I did get rid of a little and make a little. It's better than nothing though.
Now for the amazingly great news.
I am now officially an EMT!!!!!
We took the national test yesterday hence why I was gone all day. I went with a friend and we decided to take her step daughter shopping after. We just didn't want to think about the test after we took it.
We got the text from a friend who also happened to be our teacher for this class that they were posting scores around three.
It was the most nerve wracking thing I've done all weekend lol. However I opened the site and I passed!!!
It's so surreal because as of right now, I'm the only one that's passed. I'm pretty sure there will be at least one more but for now I'm one out of five.
I can't believe it but I'm so happy. Now I have some life choices to make. My husband says to go part time for now and get about a year under my belt then go for Advanced EMT if I want to.
I won't admit it but he may be right. I think I'm going to the woman handling my financial aid for everything and see if that may work.
Today I go to work and I have Serenity. Child is thirteen and loves getting me in trouble. ;It's a good thing we're all close lol. We are going to be making gummie bears, she even picked out a couple flavors and a jar to put them in. She seemed excited about it yesterday so we'll see how easy this is lol.
I also have a recipe for ranch bacon chicken pasta that I'm thinking I'll make today. GIrl is so picky but I'm going to get her to eat something different than peanut butter and jelly.
I have a few things I want to make before I leave today so I better get to it. I have a whole Fourth of JUly Bundle going on that I'm trying to push and these designs may do it :)

Congratulations on passing your EMT class. I was one for about 5 years back in the early 90s. We got a rash of children related calls, and the last one was too much to deal with. Me and 3 others stopped being EMTs after that call. I was fine with everything I saw on calls until that one. I pray you never deal with it.

@JordanLader My last one was a child that was murdered because she asked for a glass of water. It was the lady's boyfriend who killed her. She was 4 years old. The lady was at work when it happened.

Being an EMT now is great news. The yard sale business is hit or miss. Some things are popular for a while and then not. It is hard knowing.

Passing kind of over shadowed the yard sale lol. Plus I got rid of a few thing so it's not all bad.

That is so exciting! Nothing can stop you now. I kind of like your husband’s idea. That’s what a friend of mine did, and it seems to have really worked for him. Of course, you know what is the best thing, so I look forward to hearing what you decide. 
As for the yard sale, you DID get rid of some stuff, and that is great! You’re right any money made is good. I bet the people who bought from you are happy!

I really am. Plus I think that year of part time is how I'm going to go. I just need to talk to Heather, who is handling my financial aid if it can be done. She's jumping through a lot of hoops for me to get help

It still hasn't sunk in. We're still waiting for two people out of our class to take the test to see what the actual pass ration will be

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you. The garage sale thing is hit or miss. We found that it wasn't worth all the work. Nothing going on today. Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and we may go out to eat after. Have a good day.
