I walked

I walked to the Centre and didn't die. I didn't check the temperature when I left but it was probably in the mid-20s C because at 6 in the morning it was already 21°C. I gave away some raspberry plants, had breakfast and lunch, at least 3 cups of tea, and then I walked home again. Still didn't die but did rest on the couch for a bit.

I'm glad you didn't die!! Just to be contrary, we're having a cold snap.

You sound like what I feel when I have to go out with the Florida heat, I want to go to the convenience store tomorrow, It is only two blocks away but I know I am going at 8 AM because later on that sun feels like there is a heat lamp over your head,

I remember, back about 1970 or so, a friend went to Florida with his folks and when he got back he told us that he had to keep ducking into stores to cool off just to walk down the street.

@BarBaraPrz he was walking around at the wrong time, I was born and raised in NYC and in the summer I had to do the same thing cool off in stores, If you live in Florida you get used to getting out say between 8 AM to about 11 AM and then stay inside by the AC it just gets too hot after that.
