I am asking this because ever since I got addicted to the Internet I hardly read from any book I was a voracious reader once upon a time and spent hours over them. I even watched movies based on the books I read. What is your story

Teatime. I was reading a detective novel while I was eating. Although I spend a lot of time on the internet these days, any time I'm away from the computer screen I'm likely to be reading. it's been a habit of mine since I was a kid.

Reading while eating is not something we were encouraged to do.

@VictorFrankenstein I think it disturbs the joy of eating.

I understand how the internet can take up so much of our time. I used to be an avid reader too, spending hours lost in books and then enjoying the movie adaptations. Now, I find myself reading more online articles and less from actual books. What's your favorite book or movie adaptation from back then?

@allknowing "The Woman of Substance" sounds intriguing! I'll have to check it out. Do you have any other favorites from that time?

I can't remember the last time I read a book, but all this time I just looked at food brochures.

I can't remember when was the last time I held a book. I am not actually fond of reading books. I don't like to watch movies either. But I love to browse on net. No wonder, my vocabulary is very limited and my English is not good

I still read books. Anything that my hands can get hold of. I am not a voracious reader, but then I enjoy reading. Subjects could vary from History to Fantasy. I am not addicted to internet but dependent on internet due to technological advances. Good to know. Thanks for sharing!

Last time I held a book in my hand was yesterday evening before sleeping. I read every evening in bed for half an hour, sometimes more if I am not sleepy.

For many reading is a sleeping pill (lol) You must be reading something that is boring!

I love to read and have gradually gone from a real book to downloading them on my Kindle. I love a real book but my eyesight isn't what it used to be and I can adjust the font on my Kindle.

I enjoy reading books. I am now reading a Chinese book (translated from Japanese). It's a mystery story.
