The shelf above my crisper is filled with ripe mangoes from my garden.

My maid says that this year the yield of mangoes from my garden is much but I am finding it difficult to manage them. The self above the crisper in my fridge is stuffed with ripe mangoes from my garden. Most of them are picked up by my made everyday. I just keep two or three but can take only one a day, either as juice or in my fruit chat in the evening. I think my vitamin A level might be quite high now.

Wow that's a lot of mangoes. Your garden has been very abundant this year.

But my maid says the yield has been less this time. Last year I was with my son at Kolkata in summer and she enjoyed the good harvest.

Yum they are so good so lucky to have them growing on your property in abundance. We have apples everywhere here like that but not mangos.

I would love to have apples in my garden but I know it's difficult to grow them though some farmers in my city have started cultivating them in winter.

@jobelbojel My garden has big trees and so I can't cut them. I bananas and lime come in winter and mangoes in summer. Guavas come both in winter and summer but most of them are eaten by birds.

The monsoon has started and in the hot humid climate the jam may get spoiled. I shall try to make some chutney.

Is it possible to slice them and then freeze them? They'd take less room if they were sliced. At one a day, it will take you a while to get rid of all of those.

I am gradually finishing them. I keep lot of non-veg in my freezer especially for my dog so there's no place to freeze them.

I know mangoes are delicious, but I cannot have them because I am allergic to mangoes.

That's really sad as mangoes keep us cool in summer and is good for the gut.
