I knew I should have got it sooner

Are you a debater? where when you see something you
want or need & wonder if you should get it now or wait ?
Well folks, I can tell you from experience that it's NEVER
good to wait till later in these times of the economy we
all are trying to live in, it's best to get it when you see it.
Why? well when I seen what I was looking at it WAS a
100 $ at the time, but then a few mons LATER it went
to 200$ & by the time I got it & paid for it, it was a little
under 300$, YEAH I knew I should have got it sooner.
What was it that I'm talking about that I bought? a tiller
something that wasn't a huge manly mechine, but just
big enough for me to handle & not jerk me like they do.
Have I ever used 1? yes I have, the heavy duty 1's &
I can't handle them type cause they're too strong for me
I wanted 1 that use to be small & easy to handle.
Well the 1 I was wanting was just my size to handle
& I said I'll wait & get it later well that was a BAD thing
to do cause I didn't get the 1 I wanted but I did get 1.
So now I just hope it's not as strong as the old 1's
& I can handle it, I'll test it out here in a few days
to see if I can use it & if I can then I'll be on a mission.
I MAY have to wait till next year to work on the tillering
cause of the heat, & I don't need to be working with a
mechine that is stronger than I am right now working it.
So yeah take it from me when you see something you
need or want DON'T WAIT cause it may be too late
& too much cause the way things are OVER priced
now days it's not worth the wait, that's my rant for now.

@2ndchances24 Until now waiting has always been the best to do... except when we bought this house, but it was a bad time for those who had to sell their house so we knew it was the right time for us.

@LadyDuck sometimes it works out for the best & sometimes
it just never pans out like you think it would, we just learn as we go.

I totally get where you're coming from. I've had a few moments where I've hesitated and then regretted it because the price went up. Your tiller story is a perfect example of why sometimes it's best to act fast. I hope your new tiller works out great for you! And yeah, dealing with the heat is no joke, so definitely take care of yourself. Thanks for sharing your experience and advice!

Sorry you had to pay so much more for the tiller that you wanted. I've seen prices go up so quickly that I agree that it's smart not to wait if you want something.

Back when we gardened (our ages have kinda made it harder to do) my husband had this huge tiller. I tried to use it once and that thing slung me around like a rag doll!
Glad you got your tiller, but sorry it ended up costing so much.

Yes, procrastinating on a purchase is similar to the old adage He/she who hesitates is lost. Or in this case, lost out on a better deal!
It used to be better to wait for the item to go on sale, but not anymore in this current fragile economic environment. Manufacturers just pass on their extra costs to the customer. So, most products become victim to our current inflation.

@2ndchances24 Yes, so true. Even when the item is on sale, compared to pre-pandemic, it really is not.

@dgobucks226 Your so right, when they say it's on sale
RIGHT, tell me another 1, cause it's so jacked up that
your really paying for it at the end AFTER you have
bought it, like appliances & vehicles & so forth.
