Happy Saturday Everyone! egads it's hot. I've been saying that every day this week and probably will continue into next week. Summer has really arrived with these scorching temperatures.
Since it's too hot to go out and do anything, today will be a lazy day.
My daughter has had a rough work week since they fired one girl in her department and now her work has been divided between my daughter and her other co-workers. She decided to put in a little extra time today to try and catch up so while she's working I'll probably read my book.
I decided to read The Exchange by John Grisham and after many years this is a sequel to his popular book The Firm. I also downloaded 3 new books on my Kindle so my "to read" pile is growing.
Tonight we're having an easy dinner. Burgers on the grill with some fresh corn on the cob.

Sadly, no. I'll get to the dishwasher as I'd been telling myself I'd do for the past three days. Other than that no real plans.

I had to go out early and buy a new straw sunhat to go berry picking, I couldn't find my other one.
And then when we got out there it was so still and hot that I took it off.
I think that I will take a nap for 20 minutes this afternoon.
I cannot think of what we will have for supper just yet.

I like John Grisham. I've read a couple of his novels.
I'm sorry your daughter has extra duty with the other girl being fired.
I won't worry about how soon I will get these books ready to publish with your growing pile of books to read.
Dinner sounded good.
