somewhat anyway. When I was at the cardiologist last week it was 134/92. Not ideal but not as crazy high as it had been getting. I expected the nurse practitioner to increase the dosage of the med but she said she was okay with it for now. I forgot to take it on Friday night so yesterday it was 150/100. The fact that I had been puking all day may have had something to do with that. I managed to keep the pill down last night. I just took my BP and it is 134/94. My pulse is 65 which is very good. I was going to take another pill this morning if it was still too high but I don't need to. I just need to remember to take the one before bed tonight.

Vince's pulse has been very high on and off since his heart surgery. The cardiologist said they never worry about pulse rate but it's hard to believe it's not at least of some importance.

My husband is on a blood pressure med; but his problem has been dangerously low bp, especially during surgery. Have a good week.

What medicine are you on? I take metoprolol and it has helped significantly. It's still a bit high, but it's a normal high. I'll definitely take that over what it had been. I only take 1 pill at night though, and something that I've done that seems to help is I've bought those little things that you put your pill in and it's dated Sunday through Saturday and I keep it on my bedside stand. There's morning and evening slots. You can get them for a week, two weeks or month. I have the month one so I only have to fill it once a month. It's a lot easier for me to remember.
