Hanna Utah resident Kathryn Cole who is 97 years of age recently received her hig school diploma with her class at Tabiona Public School due to her work teaching students how to read and write. The reason that Hanna did not receive her diploma from her highs school which was in the 1940s was that her grandfather died on the day of her taking her final exams around the time of World War II in Fairview Utah.. Hanna wanted to take care of her family during the war which caused her not to pursue her diploma at the time. Hanna's granddaughter Shanea Bingham said that her grandmother missed an English credit class. Hanna dedicated her time to teach students how to read and write which was the reason that the Tabiona Public School would honor her with a honorary graduate in 2024. Good deeds do get their reward in due time. Hanna intends to continue teaching students to read and write. Link is upi.com/1431718040004 via @upi

Kathryn Cole's story is truly inspiring. Despite not receiving her diploma in the 1940s, her dedication to teaching has earned her an honorary diploma at 97. Her commitment to education is remarkable.

This is a wonderful story. I might've heard about it on the news. Or a similar one about a 105-year-old woman who graduated from college. So happy she had gotten to graduate with a honorary degree at her age.

Even at that advanced age, such a diploma, might have meant a lot to her, after what happened to her before, when she just missed out on getting it. A great feel-good story indeed.
