I was sitting on my patio, having my tea, when I heard this strange sound... No, it wasn't Frosty the Snowman. It was five military helicopters heading south, in formation. And when they noticed that my neighbor and I had seen them, they pulled the cloud cover up over themselves and disappeared. We had a sprinkle, then a serious shower for five minutes, and now the sun's back out. At least the wind has died down somewhat. It's been a strange day.

We see helicopters, usually over the major highways. They patrol and give traffic reports.

Interesting, sometimes a helicopter will pass over our house and it will cause a decorative item near the front door to rattle.

@BarBaraPrz Could have been worst. Rain could've caused damage. The planes, well it's likely a pratice. We have planes that fly over the track for racing events, and they have to fly over the house to get there.

That was interesting to watch, military helicopters are noisy. We had plenty last week because of the "Peace Conference" host here in Switzerland, also military jets, those are even more loud.
