I was sitting on my patio, having my tea, when I heard this strange sound...
No, it wasn't Frosty the Snowman.
It was five military helicopters heading south, in formation.
And when they noticed that my neighbor and I had seen them, they pulled the cloud cover up over themselves and disappeared.
We had a sprinkle, then a serious shower for five minutes, and now the sun's back out. At least the wind has died down somewhat.
It's been a strange day.

We see helicopters, usually over the major highways. They patrol and give traffic reports.

Interesting, sometimes a helicopter will pass over our house and it will cause a decorative item near the front door to rattle.

@BarBaraPrz Could have been worst. Rain could've caused damage. The planes, well it's likely a pratice. We have planes that fly over the track for racing events, and they have to fly over the house to get there.

Interesting sights, All I get to see from the window of my workroom is a thin, gray squirrel running back and forth along a cable

@BarBaraPrz I could consider it like that it sure eats like a pig, The squirrel does need to fatten up it is all gray, long, and skinny,
