I did not want to cook tonight, but we still had to eat. Come to think of it, I did not want to cook this noon either. At noon we had sliced summer sausage, cubed cheddar cheese, two kinds of crackers and black grapes. Tonight I made banana/blueberry smoothies with yogurt. Sweetened with just a touch of maple syrup. So very good, filling and refreshing. I have a lot of fruits and veggies to use up in the next four days. We will get it done.

That sounds tasty and cool. I was thinking fruit salad for dinner, but I ended up making chicken with cauliflower rice instead..the rice had some mushrooms in it, and I added a bit of teriyaki. Cauliflower rice really isn't too bad.

It's so hard to cook when it's so hot. Fortunately I have Meals on Wheels, frozen dinners and lots of PB&J sandwiches. Have a good week.
