Amy Shortridge who is 10 years of age altered her dad that her younger sister fell into the swimming pool and was unconscious when Matthew jumped into the swimming to get his daughter out of the pool and administer CPR to revive his daughter while someone called 911 to report the incident.
An ambulance arrived to take Mila to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries in the swimming pool. Mila made a full recovery thanks to the actions of her father who claims he was doing his job as a father to his child and not a hero.

That's a relief to hear Mila made a full recovery! Matthew's quick actions and love for his daughter are truly admirable. It's heartwarming to see such a strong bond between father and child.

That was a very blessed save, I think all young children around pools should be eating some kind of life jackets or inflatables,

They weren't watching her if Amy had to alert her father that Mila fell into the pool. I'm glad she was rescued.

I am in agreement with you that had someone been watching Amy closer. Good thing Matthew played the role of a hero.

Its a good thing dad was on the job. Someone I know pulled their son out of the water when he was just a tot. Unfortunately, although he mostly recovered, he always had some neurological problems afterwards. At least that is what it was attributed to.

These drownings happen so easily. I'm glad the little girl was saved.

It was good that she was saved, but it does appear that the adults were less than attentive, as to where she was, and had wandered off too. Adults need to be vigilant, especially if a swimming pool is around.

You are right that the child should have had someone watching over her closer than she was.
