Any one out there adopted a baby?

i am from india.i didn't have an issue after 10-11 years of trying hard i mean going through a long period of agony and going from one docter to another and yet getting disappointment.iloved kids and i terribly wanted to become a proud mother but in vain.i tried to adopt but it was a very long and complex process .more over i thought tht being a member of a conservative indian family if i adopt no one will recognise this child in my familyexcept me and my husband.ours is a joint family.so i dropped the idea.then my brother in law (the great man)told me that he will give his first child(WHO WAS YET NOT BORN AT THAT TIME)to me.i said no because it was his first baby but his wife told me that he told her the first night that they will give their baby to us.i was so gretfull to them .then the my baby (boy)was born to my utter joy.now he is 9yrs old.he is my darling .i wish i could get every happiness to him.he also love me very much even i have told him the fact when he was 7.he is very intelligent and sensible.i have told him before anyone else tells him.it makes no difference he llllllllloves me.
