Today i visited Ciutadella Park in Barcelona
The park is located on the site of a former military citadel, built by King Philip V of Spain in the early 18th century after the War of Spanish Succession. The citadel was a symbol of Bourbon control over Catalonia.
You know in the mid-19th century, the citadel was demolished, and the area was transformed into a public park for the Universal Exposition of 1888. The park's design was overseen by Josep Fontserè, with input from a young Antoni GaudÃ, who contributed to the design of the Cascada (waterfall).
