Things are coming along day by day

We have been on a roll here lately in the cabin, that's why I haven't spent a lot of time on here as of late, sorry. We still have a lot to get done but things are coming along each day we put some work into it a few hrs. Being we had to work on the outside back wall of the cabin where the critters were coming in from I can say it has kept the critters out & that's a PLUS +. But, we had a water mishap & had to get that fixed so we could take a shower & have water for the 2 dogs. With what work we have done with the ceiling this past week, it has REALLY made it look a 100 % better. It's going to be a 100% turn around from how the cabin USE to look like to what it's GOING to look like after we're done with it, I can't wait to see it FULLY done. Once I can get what we need to get the walls started & get the BIGGER part of it done I can get my desktop set back up & hopefully that won't be too much longer. Being we are getting it sealed up, IS it really helping? that's a good question, I can't really say yea or nay but I DO know I can say it's really starting to feel like home when I DO get moved back in it again. I know when I get moved back in the cabin I'm going to have to make it where the dogs stay out during the day, cause that's where I'm getting the dust from & to keep the fleas out as well too. I've also been working in the front garden too where I've planted all the plants I bought last month, & trying to get it looking decent for us to enjoy every time we drive up in the yard. So things are getting done, it's just taking all the time we can get to get things done & with as much as we have to get done it's taking up all our time to get as much as we can work on done, you got that right? WHEW, I sure hope so, but yeah we're doing good I'm doing good, I have my days that I just don't have it in me to do anything at times so I just take a few days to get back into it. So with that said I hope all is doing well & having a great week so far, I see some flooding going on in a few states that's really bad & a lot of other stuff that's making life tough but I hope it's not effecting any 1 on here.

@porwest Yeah well according to him, he said that "I won't be able to get back in till AFTER winter" & I'm like NO I need to get my desk top up & the fish tank back in there so we need to work on THAT area to get that done B-4 winter.

Yea I know, I'll be glad when it's all done then I can start saving some $ again, right now every thing I make on S S is going towards the cabin & the bills to help him with his $ to pay what bills.

I'm happy to hear that things are moving along and you can picture it all done. I'm sure it looks pretty with the flowers you planted.

I just hope that it all looks good color wise with the space I have to work with I'm taking my time to pitcher what plants I have to replant them in the front yard & give us a new look that I've always wanted to do since we've been here. The cabin has really took on a new look with as much as we have been doing with it too now that the ceiling is finished except for a few more boards to be put up & the trimming it has made a GREAT difference.

Great to hear that you’re making progress! I take it that you have a place to live while you’re fixing the cabin?

Yeah, in the husband's trailer while we work on the cabin cause when I came home from the hosp I wasn't able to live in the cabin the way it was & how unstable I was.

@moffittjc yeah, cause there's a lot I can do in the cabin I can't do in the trailer cause there's just NO ROOM to.

I can't believe it took me crashing in the hosp to get the cabin sealed up, & now that just the ceiling done & how we done it has made a great difference to see such a big change to it.

It's been a challenge 4-sure, but it's all been worth it I never thought it would take me crashing in the hosp to get the cabin sealed up like we've been doing.
