When you turn into antisocial being in front of people but you are not. Has this happened to you?

Just this morning, there was a postman who wanted to check numbers for the gas. He was leaving me a note but I opened the doors for him and said didn't he read message on my doors, where i wrote my gas numbers. He was confused and said what message. Turns out i switched the dates. I must have sounded strange to him. He did wrote by pen not so neatly and put it on a building's announcement board but it was either 20th or 26th and 26th is today. Why did i put a message for him yesterday, gosh. He said maybe his writing was wrong but i said no, i switched the dates. Said thank you after he chedched the numbers and that was it. My, my. When i try to be normal but i turn into opposite of that...
