MTV Alternative Nation Concert Tour - Blast From The Past

Hi fellow myLotters. Was talking to a friend of mien who works at StubHub and we were talking about previous concerts that we've attended. Been to a number of concerts myself both local and foreign artists and I must say that one of the best concerts I've attended to was MTV's Alternative Nation Concert Tour. It featured Foo Fighters (who was just starting at that time). Sonic Youth, and Beastie Boys. Local rock gorup (now legends) Eraserheads was the opening act. Their last song for the song was 'Superproxy' and it featured local rap legend Francis Magalona. When Foo Fighters started playing their hit song, 'This Is A Call', people started jumping the fences to get closer to the stage. I jumped with the crowd and it definitely was one of the highlights of the concert. Can't believe that you can watch a great concert for just $10. Photo is an ad for the concert. Good times.
