So, today...

Photo I took of my mail

The mail was: *Four institutions wanting money that I don't have *An envelope of coupons to places I don't go *Someone advertising their tree cutting service, and **A check from my brother for my share of the rent from the house Mom left us. There were no bills, at least--but everything but the check is going into the garbage. I hope that you received something pleasant in the mail today!

Receiving checks can really make someone's day. I just wish that one day my brother would think of giving back to me after everything I paid for him. But, oh well, siblings will be siblings I guess.

My mother left my brother and I our childhood home. My brother fixed it up, and now an elderly couple are renting it.

@xstitcher It's great that you and your brother are getting along well with what you have to do with your childhood home. Most of the stories I hear whenever parents leave their property to their kids, the latter often ends up fighting for it.

A birthday card I got for my niece Amyra’s 13th birthday came. You know, one of those this was what was happening in history. Obviously, 13 years wasn’t that long ago, but hopefully she’ll get a kick out of it. It was the year Prince William and Kate Middleton got married. That surprised me.

Yesterday was just State Farm "inviting" George to apply for their visa card. Not happening.

Anytime I receive money from someone would be pleasant. Unfortunately not today.
