Monthsary!

Today is my partner and I's Monthsary. We've been together since October 2022. We usually celebrate Monthsary on the same date of every month just to ligthen up and celebrate our love for each other. I may or may not buy some flowers for her today, all will depend on what she wants to do later tonight. Do you celebrate Monthsary with your beloved?

Judging from the other comments, "monthsary" is a Filipino thing. Hearing this from today's younger crowd has often made me wonder if golden or silver anniversaries no longer happen? Do the Z generation treat relationships on casual and temporary basis? They obviously are not thinking long term.

Golden and Silver Anniversaries still do apply but to married couples only. I'm not sure on whether others are thinking longterm but in our case we just really love to celebrate even the smallest things that we have being together everyday. It doesn't really have to be celebrated in an anniversary kind of way. The monthsary that we celebrate is more kind of like a "hey we've been very busy lately, let's spend some quality time together" kind of thing. It's something that we do enjoy doing together.

Thank you so much. In our country, there have been a lot of couples celebrating Monthsary i ln order to maintain the spark that has been existing from the very beginning.
