Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
Thought I would share a new design in the A to Z Mythical Creatures challenge I have been doing.
For letter H I decided on doing a design of a Hydra.
A Hydra is a serpentine water monster that is found in Greek mythology. I know they should have many heads and mine does not...but it still is a "water monster". I do know that it is not shown in water here...
I think I like it designed this way better, even if it is not true to the actual character. What do you think?
Also, I am interested in hearing what you think I should do for the next letter: I? I do research and try to find them myself but curious what everyone else knows about, or is interested in seeing.

Glad you think it is.... and true but I would rather make "cute" versions of them

The painting is beautiful. You could paint the mythical iceman that's a mythical character in the north pole for the alphabet I.

I like your hydra. All I could find for I were creatures I've never heard of like the Ichthyocentaur . Good luck! Have a good day.

This reminds me of a classical dragon more than a sea serpent monster, but still excellent!

Hydra is quite famous. I have read the expression "Hydra-Headed Monster" at times.
So I know that this would be a creature that interests many.
As for letter "I", I would need to look up characters in Greek mythology and see what matches the letter I.
Have a nice time ahead.

Thank you for the information. At least I have learnt something I didn't know. Keep on sharing!
