Vaping on the way out in Australia

As from Monday, Australians will only be able to buy vapes and vaping products in pharmacies. This is designed to stop the increasing use of vaping by young people, but many are saying it will just force sales underground and increase black market sales. However, many of our major pharmacy chains say they will not be stocking such products and will be supplying customers only if they have a prescription. The new laws have also drawn the wrath of shop keepers who sell mainly vaping products. I’m wondering what people will turn to now. Do you see a lot of vaping in your communities? I know that people vape, but I don’t know anyone who does.

My nephew's two friends did but I don't know if they still do. I see people vaping if I'm out and about.

Vaping is all over the place here. It is legal and lots of stores sell it.

Unfortunately, I see a lot of vaping by young people, who have been brainwashed into thinking that it is a "safe" alternative to smoking. Oh, how easily they are fooled! If I was in charge, all smoking and vaping would be made illegal.

It makes sense to ban it. The companies are trying to hook young people into vaping.

They have discovered that vaping can result to some health issues and can be fatal. There are talks here as to its regulation but no laws were announced so far.
