Hubby Left Me Unsupervised

That is often a dangerous thing to do. . And it might have been again. I spent the evening outside. At first it was good. I got some things cleaned and also got almost the last of the built up trash out of the carport. Tomorrow I might get started reorganizing it. But then I started trying to figure out where I can put chickens. I now have a plan. They will go in half the shed up by the driveway. I already have my shopping list for that. But I am hoping that maybe I can find some of the fence wire I need somewhere else before I buy it at the store. But I have my price range now at least. I have a lot of rearranging to do before I can get the shed ready. But I might get that started this week. Hope you are having a good evening.

Feeding chicken is fun. Especially if you feeding the young ones by hand. They can be so trusting. LOL

I hope you find a good price on wire fencing. I've heard it's pretty expensive.

At least she did not ask for a diamond necklace....AS YET. But if she sat down to do calculations ...it might just come to that...sooner or later. Sigh...

I think this will work the best as we have a lot of open area around the shed that critters don't like traveling through

Many places here have started allowing hens again in town. It goes by how big your lot is for how many you can have a lot of places.

@wolfgirl569 - We cannot in the area where I live, two roads down they can, but here it's only residential and the only pets allowed are cats and dogs.

You are a high maintenance girl Eva. LOL Chicken away from the house...no stink...just that some wild animal might think ..there is free meal there. Do you all get wild animals up there? And if you do, how do you prevent them?

Very much sometimes That's why I was pricing fencing. I need the hardware cloth type to keep weasels out. Keeping raccoons out isn't too hard. But weasels can get through very small holes.
